Sponsor a child in LIBERIA

 

Sponsor a child in Liberia, Africa through primary education. This could be the best way for you to impact a life in Africa- by making a personal investment and building a relationship with a child and his or her family. When you sponsor a child through primary school education, you will have the opportunity to exchange letters, photos, videos and gifts. You could even visit if you choose to go that far. We only support those children who would not go to school without your help. We urgently need more sponsors for 300 children starting school in September 2018. Bring love, hope, compassion, and justice to underprivileged children in Africa.

Selecting children?
In Johnsonville Township of Liberia, almost everyone is poor, so we have to be careful that we chose the very poor over the poor. Children are selected on a needs basis. Orphans or children from a single mother are automatically considered and next, children from parents where neither have a job. These children would not go to school without this sponsorship

What will it Cost?
It cost you $25 monthly per child for 10 months to support, or $250.00 for the entire ten months school year.  This covers:

  • Tuition / school charges

  • books,

  • school supplies

  • School Meals.

  • You are welcome to support 1 child ($25.00), more children or part of a child.

As a sponsor, what will I receive throughout the year?

Once you accept to sponsor a child we will send you a sponsorship package which will include a photo, profile about your child and other information about the child. You can expect to receive hand written notes from the child, photo and copy of child grade report card plus one video from the child and overall report of child wellbeing and progress.

What if I can't sponsor a child, but still want to make a donation to a specific child?  

 Every dollar donated to a child in need is a gift and is highly appreciated by that child. If you would like to make donation to a specific child, simply put the child name on the donation form. If you would like us to choose a child for you or simply want a boy or girl to receive the gift, please let us know. What you will give the child is a wonderful gift, what you will receive in return is a photo of the child you choose smiling in appreciation for your one-time gift.  And there’s no limit to the one-time gifts so if you decide you want to donate to that child or another child later in the year, they will welcome your gift then too.

Sponsors required
School starts in September 2018. These children would not attend school without your sponsorship. We urgently need sponsors for 200 children from age 3 years to 12 years. Sponsoring a Kenyan child really does make a difference to them lives. Who are we?

Christ Worship Center international Ministries is a charity church organization  

Located in Worcester Massachusetts committed to increasing access to quality 

education in Liberia West Africa. Our focus is constructing schools to give 

poor West African children in Liberia care and high quality education. 

 

Why? 

The Liberian Education system is emerging from a prolonged and brutally 

destructive period of civil unrest. Liberia is significantly behind most other 

countries in the African region in nearly all education statistics. After 14 years 

of civil wars, which resulted in the destruction of much of the country’s trained 

workforce, the country is still in the process of rebuilding its educational 

system. To help address these educational challenges related to access, quality 

of instruction we are constructing a primary care school in Johnsonville 

Township, in Montserrado County, Liberia.

Ed ucation, more than any other sector of development, brings improvement 

in poverty reduction, gender equality, health outcomes, prosperous and 

peaceful sustainable future for Liberia.

Most children in Liberia have little hope of securing any education at all. Often 

the only government schools available to these children have average class 

sizes between 100 to 200. For many children in Liberia it is a dream to be 

granted a quality education. By giving a charity donation to support the 

construction of a high quality primary school in Liberia we can together make 

these dreams a reality. You will be helping to give a poor child good learning 

conditions and facilities.

 

How can you help us?

Its remarkable how little money is required to build a school in Liberia. But just think, a 

seemingly small donation by you today can make a huge different tomorrow in the life of 

a child who is hungry for an education. With your financial help, we will ensure hundreds 

of children in Liberia have access to quality education, thereby raising the standard of 

living for an entire future generation.
